Q: How much does your service cost?
A: We charge a simple hourly rate for labor, so we can do whatever you need without piling on a charge for each service we provide or for each computer we work on. For most services, we charge an hourly rate of $75/hr for onsite service with a one hour minimum. Remote service is $65/hr with no minimum charge. We are happy to give you a quote if you have something specific you need help with. Ask us about our reduced rates for business maintenance service.
 
Q:Do you charge for travel time?
A:No, unless you live outside the areas we serve.
 
 
Q:How long do repairs usually take to complete?
A:Of course this can be highly variable, but when we analyzed our last 100 service calls, the average time was about 1 hour and 40 minutes. 33 of the last 100 calls required one hour or less to solve.
 
 
Q: What are the qualifications of your technicians and consultants?
A: Because we often run into complex, difficult problems, we require a minimum bachelors degree in computer science or related field and 5 years of experience.
 
 
Q: What if  my repair requires an extensive amount of time for a simple problem, can my bill spiral out of control?
A: No. If the computer needs things like extensive and time consuming diagnostics (virus scanning, low level formatting etc.) we will offer to take it back and put it on the bench for overnight service. We only charge for the time we are actively working on the problem.
